My Megasquirt steers both ignition & injection. I use whats called TFI ignition. It´s a Ford standard and very easy to use with Megasquirt. The Megasquirt needs modificatin for that but you can order the Megasquirt with it.

It´s really easy to install to, you just cut away the original connector ant replace it with the Megasquirt connector. And replace the airtemp/watertemp sensors with bosch

I have run over 7000km with the car at 1.1 bar of boost, works to well Smile and it´s still complety standard engine/compression

0-200 in 14 seconds


I have wrote a guide in swedish, you can copy the settings at least. It will work with 350cc injectors and a turbo thats near Garrett GT40 in size, remember to strob the ignition så it resembles the degress in Megasquirt (turn the distributor to match)

On a such big engine as a Ford 2.9 you will need a big turbo, check some lorry scrapheaps for large turbo. Measure the inlet impeller and output impeller. To match my setup you will need around 55mm on the inlet and 62-65 on the outlet
